Visit to the European Parliament as part of the promotion of European youth

As part of our initiatives to promote European youth, we organized a visit to the European Parliament, providing our young participants with a unique opportunity to discover how the institutions of the European Union function.

This educational outing is part of our commitment to raise awareness among young people about European citizenship, democracy, and the importance of civic engagement. It allowed them to better understand how decisions affecting millions of citizens across Europe are made.

During the visit, participants explored the plenary chamber, visited various meeting rooms, and learned more about the roles of Members of the European Parliament, parliamentary committees, and political groups.

A discussion session was also organized to answer the young participants’ questions about the European Parliament’s missions, opportunities for mobility and engagement within the European Union, as well as youth-focused programs.

This enriching experience strengthened our young participants’ sense of European belonging and encouraged them to become more actively involved in civic, solidarity-based, and intercultural projects.

We warmly thank the European Parliament team for their welcome, as well as all mentors and partners who contributed to the success of this visit.
